Silver Cloud: Low Cost VMware Virtual Machines
REDPLAID Silver Cloud delivers low-cost VMware Virtual Machines running on high-performance, standalone Dell PowerEdge servers. Unlike other Cloud offerings, you are free to run whatever software you want on your Silver Cloud Virtual Machine(s). You can provide your own VMware images (VMDK file), run off-the-shelf appliances from VMware's Partner Catalog, or REDPLAID can install and support Windows Server 2003/2008, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 4 or 5) or CentOS 5.x Linux.
You can add processor, memory or Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disk space to any REDPLAID Silver Cloud VMware Virtual Machine as needed.
Gold Cloud: Fault-Tolerant VMware Virtual Machines
REDPLAID Gold Cloud is designed for Software as a Service Hosting (SaaS Hosting), and other business-critical hosting environments where uptime is critical.
REDPLAID Gold Cloud runs VMware ESX Enterprise, including VMware HA (High Availability) & VMware VMotion. REDPLAID Gold Cloud utilizes clustered Dell PowerEdge servers connected to a high-performance iSCSI Storage Area Network, where all Virtual Machines and their data reside. If any server fails, all virtual machines running on a failed server automatically restart on another server within the cluster - with no changes required to your applications or software!
Like REDPLAID Silver Cloud, you are free to run whatever software you want on your Gold Cloud Virtual Machine(s), as long as your Operating System can run VMware Tools. So you can provide your own VMware images (VMDK file), run off-the-shelf appliances from VMware's Partner Catalog, or REDPLAID can install and support Windows Server 2003/2008, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 4 or 5) or CentOS 5.x Linux for you.

Silver Cloud Pricing
For each Silver Cloud VMware Virtual Machine, you can add processor, memory or Storage Area Network (SAN) disk space as needed. To get more processing power, you simply upgrade to the next higher-level Virtual Machine. To add more memory and more disk storage, you simply add on to your Virtual Machine on a per GB basis. (See Add-On Pricing) As long are the operating system and file system you use allows for dynamic disk allocation, you can add more disk on the fly also.
